Three things to focus on in a crisis - and one which you must not

When you’re communicating in a crisis it’s important that your messages resonate with your stakeholders.

Send out the right messages and you will connect with people and retain their trust and confidence. Strike a wrong note and you can make your crisis even worse (as BP’s Tony Hayward found to his cost when he said that he “wanted his life back”.
